Florian de Jacquelot welcomes you to the Bruyère farm located at the gate of Suisse Normande. Florian is an agronomist who worked for 15 years in international solidarity. Back in Normandy since 2019, he wished to take care of the family land to develop an agricultural and sheep raising activity in organic farming. In particular, he wishes to preserve biodiversity on the farm through the replanting the bocage and agroecological practices.

Our values

La Bruyère farm is a 44 ha farm located at the entrance of the Suisse Normande. The main activity is the breeding of ewes of the Bleu du Maine breed, a local breed in conservation. The farm is mainly composed of meadows, some of which are in a wetland area, and these meadows are crossed by 2 streams. The rest of the land (10ha) is cultivated with cereals for the sheep's feed. The Bruyère farm therefore offers grass lambs during the summer and autumn. The sale of breeding stock (ewes and rams) will also be offered in the years to come.
